Documentation of the work in video
`Portraits` is a Series of
crystal plates (use them in Laboratories to make clinical tests). On them I put blood
sheets from different dead people.
I wrote texts in the blood that only be seen using a microscope. The text in
the blood is a supposition about how were this person and his life: nutritious
habits, sickness, vices, as well as some characteristics of his society.
This supposition had a
scientific basis that is a previous investigation of blood carried out by a
team of specialists in Clinic Laboratories. In this way, we got as much as
possible from this body substance in order to have a complete information and
image of the person and his life.
My objective is to find
another point of view of my society, alternative to those from the power structures.
